Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use AirLinks, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Profile information, including a profile photo and biography
• Professional information, such as job title, company, school, and career background
• Precise location when required for nearby discovery features
• Device and technical information when necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service
• Usage and interaction information related to discovery, profiles, and in-app activity
• Information you authorize from sign-in providers, such as LinkedIn profile details
• Purchase and entitlement information associated with Apple in-app purchases

We collect only what is reasonably needed to provide AirLinks, support nearby networking features, and respond to your requests.

We use information to:

• Create and maintain AirLinks accounts
• Display and personalize professional profiles
• Help users discover and connect with nearby professionals
• Provide location-based discovery functionality
• Operate, maintain, and improve AirLinks
• Diagnose technical problems and provide customer support
• Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms
• Communicate with you about your account and support requests
• Verify purchases and account entitlements

AirLinks does not sell personal information. AirLinks does not use personal information to track users across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes.

AirLinks may collect precise location information when you enable features that require nearby discovery. Location is used to:

• Discover nearby users
• Allow nearby professionals to discover each other
• Power proximity-based networking functionality

Location information may be associated with your account and used to determine proximity to other AirLinks users. Approximate proximity may be shown as part of the discovery experience. You can manage location permissions through your device settings.

When enabled and permitted by you, background location may be used to support nearby discovery functionality even when the app is not actively open. This helps keep you discoverable to nearby professionals if you have chosen that experience.

Background location is optional. You can change or withdraw this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → AirLinks. If background location is off, some nearby discovery features may be limited while the app is not in use.

AirLinks does not sell personal information. We may share information in the following limited situations:

• Other AirLinks users. Information you include in your AirLinks profile may be visible to other AirLinks users. This can include your name, photo, professional details, biography, interests, and approximate proximity. Email addresses are not displayed to nearby users.
• Service providers. We may use trusted providers to operate the service, such as sign-in providers, cloud hosting, databases, and email delivery. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.
• Legal and safety reasons. We may share information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, or investigate fraud or abuse.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide AirLinks, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. When you request account deletion, we delete or de-identify associated account data as soon as reasonably possible, except where retention is required or permitted by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have choices about the information AirLinks uses:

• Manage location and background location permissions in iOS Settings.
• Choose what professional and profile information you include in AirLinks.
• Contact AirLinks Support to ask questions about your information.
• Request deletion of your account on the Account Deletion page.

You may request deletion of your AirLinks account and associated data through the Account Deletion page or by emailing AirLinks Support. We will verify and process valid deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible. Deletion is not always instant.

AirLinks is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact AirLinks Support so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use of AirLinks after an update means you have been informed of the revised policy.
